Imperial Barber Products history:
“In 2011, IMPERIAL set out to evolve the craft of American men’s grooming by bringing time-honored grooming traditions into the home via all-natural, utilitarian, premium products. Today, Imperial Barber Products has become an authority in masculine men’s grooming.
The team behind IMPERIAL Pomade have spent a combined 26 years in the Los Angeles and New York City barber culture. During that time, they worked to perfect the craft of classic American men’s styling. In all those years they never found a hair or grooming product that worked perfectly. Pomades, gels and waxes were too weak, too greasy and waxy, or too fragrant, while shaving products often fell victim to an onslaught of hype that never met expectations.
The Imperial team decided to work together to build the perfect products themselves. The first result was the premium barber-grade, water-based Classic Pomade; customer named, the “Strongest Water Based Pomade in America”. They spent two-and-a-half years testing the Classic Pomade not only in research labs, but also in barbershops on real customers. The feedback from customers was overwhelmingly positive inspiring them to develop more products.”

you can usually buy the 4 oz. jar for around $14. This order may also qualify for free shipping.
Imperial is one of the best pomades on the market if not the best. Whatever hairstyle you want to achieve this will get the job done, every time. I must say that this product is the closest to perfection there is. It has very strong hold that will put up through the whole day. Even if it rains and your hair gets a little wet, it will go back to normal after it dries out. It has a medium shine which is good if you prefer the matte look to the slick look. As to the smell, it has a clean laundry scent when you open the jar and when you apply it, it leaves a mild watermelon like fragrance which is barely noticeable. It will not leave oily or greasy residue and it easily washes out in the shower. As to the price, it’s around $13 per 100 grams which is very reasonable considering the quality. If you want to rock an amazing pompadour or a cool slickback hairstyle, Imperial is definitely the pomade you need.
